    SETTLING IN AT TIN CUP
    Ed's enjoying the silence after an arduous trek to Tin Cup. But he's met up with his camera gear, so it's on with the show.

    HIDING FOOD FROM BEARS
    Well it's not Everest, but Ed hasn't lost his climbing skills. He stashes his food up a tree so it doesn't entice the bears.

    DAYDREAMING OF SALMON
    Ed's hungry and losing weight, and hopes he'll be catching some fish soon. Otherwise it's tree bark stew on the menu!

    NEW CAMP GETS HIGH MARKS
    Ed's found the perfect, breezy camp at Tin Cup Lake -- much better for avoiding the bears. Now it's time to build his new shelter.

    ONE MONTH DOWN, TWO MORE TO GO
    Ed's become more of a gatherer than a hunter, but not by choice. He'd gladly give up his leaves and berries for a fish!
