So what happened in the end to 'Gemma', the girl friend of the hyper-entitled nerd @ 1:30?

Did she survive the inferred sexual assault by the marauders who broke into their apartment?

Hey NAT GEO... One major oversight is that if the scenario is an electromagnetic pulse (EMP), no videos would work, no cell phones would work, no generators would work! All electrical equipment would be fried. The only way to protect equipment and batteries is to build a Faraday cage. What's more, the toilets and water would work in the beginning. It would be a gradual misfunction as the plants are unable to deal with problems and filtration of sanitation.

I can only hope this show stimulates the people in charge to take note and increase security of our power grid.  Most people could survive a power failure for a few days.  But in three days when water is no longer available, a lot of people are going to begin dehydrating.  In a few more days a lot of people are going to be dead, dying or wishing they were dead.

Get your facts straight...And Emp would not be a total knockout punch...not every single electrical item would be disabled..your uniformed.
