Calm Down
It's Poker Night for the Johns brothers, when, according to Bobby, "we put our differences aside and come together as brothers." Still, when you get these five brothers together at the card table, tensions inevitably flare.

A Concerned Father
During the family anniversary party, Bobby reflects on his parenting over the years. "I was very young when I had Sable. I was only 17. I never gave her any options to be anything but Rom. I feel... I feel that was a mistake. And I'm not sure I want to do that for Amanda and Vivian."
-
Bob Sr.
Bob Sr. is the patriarch of the Johns family and a respected elder in the Romani community. Maintaining the honor of the family name is contingent on keeping his family in line with Romani traditions.
-
Tina Tene
As the matriarch of the family, Tina has a zero tolerance policy for the younger generations breaking from Romani traditions. With five grown sons and fifteen grandchildren, she has a lot of family to keep in line.
-
Reading Palms
Tina sits with her 14-year-old granddaughter Amanda. "You're 14," she tells her. "Two years from now, you're gonna get married. It's our custom." Along with marrying young, it's expected that Romani women work as psychic healers. "You're gonna help others. Like a doctor. So I want you to learn this. I demand it."
-
A Confrontation
Nicky confronts Bobby about raising his youngest daughters outside of the family's traditional ways. "No, let me finish, then I'll let you finish. Our father ain't here. He's not feeling good. And I'm letting you know right now, what you're trying to do ain't happening."
-
Talking About Pressure
Val talks to his cousins Chris and Sean about the pressure he's getting from his father to get married. "My dad’s trying to set me up with a Gypsy girl. But I don’t care what he says, I’m not doing it. Not happening. Definitely not."

Mingling
Jack, the youngest of the five Johns brothers, mingles at the family party.
