Chasing UFOs: Lights in the Sky
Ryder discovers something quite shocking in the night sky.
This show is an insult to human intelligence, as are most of these ridiculous "reality" UFO shows. Pure scripted fiction. It does a disservice to somewhat "credible" reports and the formula is so predictable and completely unoriginal.
It follows Jesse Ventura's "Conspiracy Theory" formula to the letter. Totally predictable and unconvincing, as well as a myriad of other conspiracy shows, that have no credibility.
National Geographic used to be a respected source for information, sad that it's catering to the lowest common denominator now.
And make no mistake, I do believe that UFO's are real. I think that crap shows like this do more harm than good into making any kind of credible case of convincing the world otherwise. It's the media equivalent of project Blue Book, totally farce.
National Geo, you should be ashamed.
