If there is a birthplace for the blues, it would be here in the Mississippi Delta. Muddy Waters is known as the father of Chicago Blues and got his nickname as a child.

Loser Sings the Blues
The crossroads in Mississippi is a famous location known to be walked down by the king of the delta Blues, Robert Johnson. KG and Ringy bump into each other at the famous crossroads hoping to dig up something worth singing about. The boys decide to make a bet that whoever digs up the best nectar at the next place gets to watch the other guy actually sing the blues down at a famous blues joint.
