changed my life, I am working to be prepared for anything!

My husband and I have been prepping for several, my family also are preppers. We try to instill in our friends and family that the government does not have resources to help in case of a disaster. In 2011 that was brought full circle when we had a wildfire that lasted 12 days our entire town was evacuated. No one came to help us until the 11th day.  The town depended on the kindness of strangers and each other. It was amazing how much help came. We now are off the grid short of having a solar system which unfortunately we cannot afford.  We have goats, chickens, rabbits and pigs.  We resource our own food.  We can, dehydrate, hunt and milk our goats.  We had already started prepping before the disaster.  But since the disaster we know you have to depend on yourself. Get a group of friends you can work together. No one ever thinks it will happen to them. But in a breath, everything that is normal to you can be gone.
