Explorer: Search for Adam
Geneticist Spencer Wells searches for the trunk of the human family tree, a scientific ""Adam"" from whom all men descended.
Spencer had a theory and found evidence that "proved" it......SUPRISE! Only problem any reference to the Bible is bogus. Please re-read Genesis 1 and 2, disregarding all preconceived dogma or doctrinal propaganda. On the 6th day God created man (ha-adom) on the 8th day He created (eth-ha-adom) THE man Adam, as told from the original text. I know the theosophy put forth in this supposed "Search For Adam" maybe secularly and humanistically appealing and even comforting to some, but scientifically it's 'hog-wash'. For all humanity to come from 1 man and one woman(whom you fail to interject the DNA of) resulting in the different race's with their completely different DNA is scientifically IMPOSSIBLE, even from the lost mentality of evolution. "Sorry Charlie"....it doesn't pass the smell test! But your geographical origins of Man is bad.....keep studying you'll get there...hopefully.
I can't believe that I turn this show on and watch this complete idiot kill that moose. The fool goes in the yard, provokes the moose into charging and then the coward kills it. I will never watch another episode of this program. As someone who lived in Alaska for 9 yrs I understand that moose come into yards, into town, and can be scary but here' s a thought! Try other methods to scare it off or wait it out until the moose wanders off. You don't provoke it to charge and then kill it in cold- blood! I am disgusted that national geographic who I have always considered a champion for wildlife would air this on a program. I am literally sick to my stomach and would have changed the channel if I had thought he would actually kill that poor moose who was simply looking for food.
