Alex Cranmer poses in a 1920's Chicago gangster outfit with a Thompson Sub-Machine Gun. The Thompson Machine gun (or Tommy gun) was famously used in the notorious St. Valentine's Day Massacre of 1929, where Al Capone's henchmen mowed down 7 members of Bugs Moran's gang in a Chicago garage.

Alex Cranmer has been 'captured' in German trenches, and is being interviewed by a senior German officer. The Great War Association is a society in Pennsylvania that holds WWI reenactments twice a year at their 100-acre site complete with trenches and biplanes.
