The beautiful Sierras offer wonderful views and extreme hazards for drivers and the tow trucks that recovery the vehicles.  A 400' climb down the Truckee River was necessary to connect to this truck after it went off at the 55 Mile Curve at Floriston, CA.

With snow falling at 6 inches per hour, drivers are required to wear chains on their tires — though many do not. In this episode, Brandon of Sierra Towing spots a vehicle in trouble, but when he parks his truck to help the driver stranded in the middle of the highway, the truck gets sideswiped by another driver.
