Inside Combat Rescue: Pararescue Profile: Barry
Barry is a rookie Pararescueman on his first deployment to Afghanistan and must prove to his teammates he can get the job done.
I watched every episode. This was an excellent show.I work on the HH-60G helicopter and it is a very special platform. The people that do this job are very special too. They are fearless, yet unsung.Movies have been made of some of the more spectacular missions (e.g. Bat 21) yet all of the missions are dangerous. Many of them involve people shooting at you while you do your work, which was not really brought to the surface during this show.My hat is off to NatGeo and these CSAR personnel.
I lost the message 4 times because your danged web page kept resetting itself. You would have more comments is you didn't boot people off before they finished typing.
Saw him shopping at the BX today, he probably thought I was crazy! But he is pretty awesome! Hero:)
GREAT series. I use to SCUBA dive with the PJs of the 57 ARRS at Lajes Field, the Azores. If I was EVER wounded I want these guys at my side!
When the ops center is put on alert there is a computer voice that announces a warning. Does anyone know what the computer is saying when it alarms?
Just saw my first show. Wish we had this stuff in Vietnam. Even the field hospitals were crude. But we had it better than Korea vets did. These guys will save a lot of lives. Thanks for the show.
