Inside Combat Rescue: Pararescue Profile: Justin
Senior Airman Justin relies on faith, family and his teammates to help control his emotions while carrying out the dangerous mission of saving lives.
I caught this program on Netflix while playing around with my new SMART Blue Ray player, and I'm glad I did. When I was in the Air Force during the Viet Nam war era I attended missle maintenance training at Shepperd AFB. Evidently some pararescue troops got their medical traing in the same building where my training ws held. We used to watch these guys as they ran to and from school everyday. They ran in formation and sang to cadence the four miles to and from their assembly point. They would sing:
" One Mile
All The Way
I must say, with their maroon berets, they were pretty impressive. I was proud (and maybe a little jealous) of them then, but now, and I'm especially proud of them.
your family and all of us are very lucky to have brave men like yall and we pray for each and everyone of you.God Bless.
