It was entertaining but I was very disappointed that it was not accurate.  I thought it was going to be a better depiction of the event.  Furthermore, why did Tom Hanks do this?

I have purchased and listened to the book on disk, but unfortunately the cable network in the house I have rented does not carry the National Geographic station.

Maybe I can watch it on Netscape at some point in time.

I'm looking forward to seeing this presentation of Bill O'Reilly's book "Killing Lincoln."  The negative comments that have been posted are obviously from those who have not read the book - for if they did they would understand the title of the book and the movie.  The plan to kill Lincoln was indeed a plan of killing Lincoln.  Initially the plan was to kidnap the President, but that plan fell through.  In fact the conspiracy to kill Lincoln was basically done ad hoc; which is one of the many reasons why it failed to succeed  - in terms of Booth getting away with it.

I look forward to seeing this.

@Rick Gregory @Rick Gregory  - I have read the book or tried to before I was utterly disgusted with it and its not as factual as you think.  Full of supposition.  Any book based on fact would have cited their sources.   There are much better books out there, including Lincoln Murder Conspiracies.  Blows O'Reilly's book out of the water.  Much better sources and citings.

I find that the very name of this very offensive , more like disgusting. Killing Lincoln... how can you even remotely glorify a man how assassinated one of our greatest president . i find this appalling. let alone the ramifications of showing let alone discussing a "killing" in such time as these  is truly sickening  and you wonder where people get ideas for going out and killing innocent people. i will no longer watch or support any National Geographic programming

@matt moseng - Since Booth was obsessed with killing Lincoln, the title is appropriate. The rest of your comment is silly since Lincoln's death and the reasons for Booth's actions are part of our history. Rather than hide history, we should know it and learn from it.
