Life Below Zero: Life Below Zero Trailer
Six Alaskans live off the land and off the grid in new series Life Below Zero.
I love this show.....talk about hardcore living...Sue for sure ( i would get so lonely but different strokes for different folks)
I admire the courage of these folks. They have beautiful ways of expressing themslves.
Hera Erik making wooden boxes for his traps . "I am not much of a carpenter.(but) I dont think the nimals willknow.
"Here, That is the roller-coaster nature ..of nature
When he missed a shot he said "that is 1 for the wolf and 0 for Erik."
I love all the players, but Sue is my favorite. I am amazed at her guts - how does she handle the isolation and the fear of being sick. Would love to talk with her thru the computer if she does that. God Bless her.
LIFE BELOW ZERO IS MY FAVORITE,VERY REALISTIC.THE ONLY ONE I DONT LIKE IS ANDY.I PITY KATE ,ANDY HAS AN ANGER PROBLEM AND ABUSES KATE,OFF SCREEN THERE IS PROBABLY FISICAL AND VERBAL ABUSE.ERIC IS A MORON TO SHOOT PREGNANT CARIBOU COWS AND EAT THE UNBORN CALVES.I LIVED IN NORTHWEST TERRITORIES ALONE FOR TEN MONTH,S AT A TIME FOR MY JOB AS A WATCHMAN AND I SHOT BULL CARIBOU ONLY.THE WOLVES NEVER BOTHERED ME,THEY STOPPED BY FOR A VISIT OFTEN WHEN PASSING THROUGH,HUNTING CARIBOU.
I do not like any TV program that depicts wolves as bloodthirsty predators. Of course if you live in the middle of the Arctic alone and there are hungry wolves outside, they will try to eat you. Anyways, I STRONGLY DISLIKE any program that shows an old woman shooting at wolves because "they are getting very close". In the first place, she shouldn't live there.I do not like this pro-hunting, pro-let's have a high caliber rifle programs and I hope National Geographic stops doing them.
Having previously lived in Alaska for 15 yrs, I can tell you this show is the most realistic on TV. I lived outside Anchorage, and life was a lot rougher than living in the lower 48. I always joked they had to pay me to live there, i.e.; the Permanent Fund Dividend, lol. My favorite segments of this show are with Sue in Kavik, and Chip and Agnes Hailstone. Can't stand Andy's anger and the way he treats Kate, and Eric is just plain boring.
Great show. Just happened to find it last night as I was surfing the channels. Mesmerizing! Can't wait for another show to air.
Awwww, Tim. Like Kate said, Andy has a huge temper but it is balanced out by his adoration and love for her; his affection; his brilliance; his talent; he's home and not in bars with the boys.....all guys have their one quirk that make them an occasional idiot.....but if the rest of them is so great, and you truly love all they are, then temper trantrums are part of the gig....you love that part too. If Andy died tomorrow, Kate would probably give anything to hear him yell one more time.....THAT is what love is all about......ACCEPTANCE.
See my reply to Tim......Andy is brilliant and sweet.....so he has a temper. Big deal. Don't we all, just to different degrees.
Seriously? Wolves are blood thirsty predators. That's all they are. Cougars are blood thirsty predators. Many animals are blood thirsty predators and if you eat meat you're a blood thirsty predator.
Oh stop your complaining. Unless you want to remain a sheeple you better get to learn how to hunt for survival. The unarmed person is a slave!
@Cuauhtemoc G. I think you are spoiled liberal who thinks the working person should have to pay everyone and no one can own gun but the criminals.
See my comments about Andy.....and Eric---boring? He's extremely intelligent and is true to himself, as is Kavik Sue and the Hailstones....these are all people I'd love to meet and learn from. They are the REAL survivors.
