American Daniel Van De Zendrew, out of work and desperate for cash, agrees to transport cocaine from Ecuador to the United States in exchange for $10,000. The plan seemed simple: meet an organizer and another mule (or drug carrier) at the airport in the US, fly to Ecuador, stay a few days and then fly back separately with the drugs. But when the 2nd mule was caught, he ratted out Danielle to bargain down a lesser sentence. Now, after 7 yrs behind bars, Daniel tells his harrowing story.
