I have a civil war rifle, that has on one side "1863 Tower" which I assume is an Enfield rifle.  it has 3 bands holding the barrel.  There is a person's name printed on the underneath of the stock, but I cannot make it out. It appears to be stamped, like for army issue.  On the stock, the same side as the "1863 Tower" stamp, is another printed stamp of a crown on top of the letters STA with Birmingham Small Arms Trade in a circle around the crown.
