I happen to know Will and Kara... They were my favorite SF power couple (when they were up here in the Bay Area), and they truly are a force to be reckoned with. They love each other deeply. Yes, their relationship may not fit with societal or cultural "norms", but believe me when I say that I don't think I've ever known two people more devoted to each other.
My, my how society has changed over the years. As a Dad of children that have various lifestyles, I have gotten used to these changes. I may not like them as I was raised in a "traditional" home, but from what I have learned in my short time here is - as long as you are happy and at the end of the day you have no regrets. Live this life of yours to the fullest and let no one influence you.
My friend Daryl Davis is the real deal. I've known him since we were in school together, and he's truly an inspiration. It's funny...I never saw him as a color or a race...he was always just Cool Daryl in my mind. It wasn't until he shared his amazing story that I can see my friend as not only Cool Daryl (who's also jammed with the likes of Chuck Berry and Eric Clapton), but rather he's Amazing Daryl who TRANSCENDS color and race. I am privileged to count him as a friend and am the better for knowing him.
