Wild Boar Rampage Helping The Old North State Rob and Puma arrive in North Carolina to help Alan, the owner of a remote tourist attraction, deal with a black bear problem. Alan gives Puma Ghostwalker and Robert Hardy a quick tour of the North Carolina's Mining Museum in Emerald Village. Black Bear Country A scenic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Little Switzerland, NC. The Blue Ridge Mountains are home to a large population of black bears. A Safe Plan Bears are continually coming onto Alan's property and endangering employees as well as customers. Rob and Puma need to set up deterrents around the property but also condition any bears to stay clear of the area. Alan listens intently to Rob and Puma's plan. Kaktovik, Alaska In the northern most most reaches of Alaska, Jason arrives in the village Kaktovik, which lies on the shores of the Beaufort Sea. He's been hired by a local construction firm to guard their workers against polar bear encounters. In the town of Kaktovik, Alaska, it's not unusual to spot Polar bears and other Arctic animals that come to feast on whale remains left behind by local Inupiat Eskimos. Whiteout Conditions The snow gets cleared out of the Kaktovik Cemetery. In these whiteout conditions it's easy for polar bears to camouflage. Polar bears are a near constant threat in this village, and given the aggressive nature of the bears, not to mention their size any and every precaution must be taken. Situation Deteriorating A whiteout environment is brewing in Kaktovik, Alaska. Whiteout occurs when the sky and snow are the same color, making it difficult to see the horizon. Jason soon endures heavy fog and winds that roll in off the sea. A blizzard sets in causing near zero visibility. Jason will stay out as long as he can but the situation is quickly deteriorating. A Bahamian Wild Boar Cory is on Andros Island in the Bahamas. He is hired to track a wild boar for Jeff Cartwright, a local farmer that has seen his crops destroyed by a massive pig. Boar of Destruction Cory Valdes looks around Jeff Cartwright's farmland in North Andros, Andros, Bahamas to see the areas affected by the Wild Boars. Cartwright has explained in horrific detail a saga of being charged by the 200 lb wild boar and a fear of venturing outside after dark. With sharp tusks of up to five inches long, Cory knows that Cartwright could be seriously injured, if not bankrupt, if he doesn't stop the boar. The Local Hunt Cory takes part in a local pig hunt and watches a group of dogs quickly track and corner a female pig. Joe Barr, one of the hunting dog owners, looks down lovingly at one of his dogs. Going To Need A Better Plan The pig hunt is certainly impressive, but Cory knows that dogs don't stand a chance against Cartwrights' boar. Cory will have to utilize a different strategy. Conversing With Cory, Animal Expert Though exhausted, Cory Valdes takes the time to explain the forest trees to the crew as they wait to catch the wild boar.
