The Hard Merchandise
I love the Hard Merchandise boat. You guys are what blue collar workers are like. Would love to come to Gloucester to meet you guys.
Its nice to see him talk more than complain. The complaining thing with all the crews gets to be a drag. This season has been so much better. Its awesome to see a friendly fun competition.
Dave, I'm new to this forum so here goes.
You talk too much, that's a fact. I like you and Jay, but a little less yak, please.
And forget about Tuna.com. He's trying to make a living same as you. Thanks for listening.
Who will be the first captain to land this season's "Slob" that has a respectable weight of over 600 lbs? Marciano and the Hard Merchandise, who else!! So far, with the exception of one, most have been rather small making one really wonder just how well the ocean's wealth of Blue Fin Tuna are really doing?
Hey Dave~~would LOVE to know how to sign up for your fishing contest~~To win a trip fishing with you , would allow me to check off an area on my Bucket list~~~Just DON"T know where the entry form is located to sign up for contest ~~Any help ~~~~GREAT
Hi Dave, we are pulling for you all the way and want to see you take the win with the most money home this season. You have a streak of bad luck but I see you taking them all to the cleaners!
I voted for Captain Dave's boat because it is the only one I saw that had a "Support Our Troops" sticker. May you always have the wind at your back and following seas!
Capt. Dave, how's the new boat working out? I see the green colored reels you're using & was wondering what brand they are.
Loved the double strike, and even better boating both. You guys rock! Now get that 'wicked-pissa' (1000+ pounder). Every episode brings back fond memories of fishing with my Grandfather in Maui, HI.
This past July,i left Wisconsiin to go to MN for a wedding, along the way it was my goal to find the Hard Merchandise and pray over her for your saftey and that you would be atop the leaderboard at seasons end.Finding a boat in Glouster if you dont know where it is , is next to impossible, we went to a small restsaurant not knowing anything about it, went to talk to the chef that was standiing on the dock to talk to him about the food, I looked to my left and there she was, The Hard Merchandise just floating there 30 feet away, i was so excited that my goal was met, I prayed over your boat (in Jesus name) and now the new season is on NG and i can not wait to see how you finish.
PS I took a few pics, and may have even climbed aboard...hope you dont mindGood luck and tight lines
Hey Captain Dave..
I wanted to tell you I hope you are the #1 boat this year and catch a lot of HUGE tuna. I enjoy watching the program and think the Hard Merchandise deserves to be number 1. Your attitude is great and shows you care about people and have a super personality. Tell the captain of Tuna.com to kiss my grits.... he sucks. You and Paul on the Wicked Pissha are the TRUE stars of WICKED TUNA and deserve to be the top two producers this year. It's time for you to haul in one or two 1,000 pounders. Good luck to you and your great crew... I'm a rooten' for ya.
. Your boat sinking at the dock last year was one of the most heartbreaking things I've seen for a long while but it looks like you have recovered and have a damn nice boat now.
Hope ya read these and if not.... can anyone tell me how to get an email to him?
This MAN is a REAL fisherman... FULL TIME! NO B S~~ A loyal HUSBAND, FATHER, (NOT a deadbeat like some of the other Capt.) UNCLE & FRIEND! Upstanding guy! GO GET EM' DAVE MARCIANO!! And a hug to Nancy from ME!! Shannon (aka F/V Lady Shannon)
Love the name of the Boatand the Captain would pick his boat over all the others to work on go get Marciano this is your your yr.
My husband and I watch you faithfully, love the HARD MERCHANDISE crew!!! honest hard working guys. entering for our dream trip first of any to come pull one on board with you.
YOU GUYS HAVE HAD A LOT OF BAD LUCK TO WORK SO HARD HOPE THIS YEAR YOU GET EVERYONE YOU HOOK GOOD LUCK
Hi i love your programs and the figth with the fish... i have a question what side of hook do you use for it and what kind is it ... Thanks my name is George Hoos and my email is cysas@hotmail..com
I wish you had t-shirts, ball caps, sweatshirts..etc, for sale on-line because you are my favorite team and boat!!
Your luck should change for the better, I was just the 667th voter to confirm your the favorite boat in the fleet. I had to get you off that number. I hope you guys top the leader board this season, especially top tuna.com
congrats on getting back on your feet guys and best of luck from the portland fishing family and all my fishing buddies here on the island of jamaica.we all cheer for every fish you guys catch.
I like watching Dave he has the hardest of times and just keep tugging a long him and his boat are like me and my van have to work on it to ride in it it isn't pretty but it gets the job done and he steamed out to haul fuel to pin wheel helped them he just my kind of guy there cool dude..
Nice to see the Hard Merchandise above water again. Jason has the skill to reel 'em in so you gotta find them this season Dave. . I thought they were having another contest? And what ever happened with last years winner. Really expected to see a video of their trip too.
Love wicked tuna and enjoy watching Dave and Jason working hard to catch the tuna. I entered the National Geographic Channel religiously and would love to win the trip with Dave and Jason. It is so awesome to watch everyone catching their tunas. I also love tuna fish. I know your tunas are for sushi but I enjoy canned tuna and have a meal of canned tuna in one form or another weekly. Hope you have a great season in 2014 and hopefully will be lucky enough to meet you two in person.
cheering for Captain Dave and Jay on the Hard Merchandise. You cannot keep a good man/fisherman down. Congratulations for being back on the water and love seeing the new equipment, rod, reels and electronics.
So glad you are back have enjoyed following you these past seasons look forward to watching you and Jason have a great year
Capt. Dave Marciano - I'd be interested in knowing what caused your boat to sink, if you can tell us.
Wish me luck on the next Power Ball drawing. When I win I want to invest in a complete rebuild or purchase of
of the Hard Merchandise 2. However. You need to stop smoking. Hope you had a great season. Tight Lines.
I love Dave Marciano and Jason. They work so hard, come across many hardships, yet, Dave will always help his fellow fishermen. He should be catching more tuna. Don't worry Dave if Karma is true , you are well on your way to catching more tuna. I love that Dave is so family oriented and safety and crew come first. This shows his great character. Money over safety should never be a priority. Yes, and for your family, please quit cigarettes. Definately Not worth the risk~
Marciano you are one the reasons that I watch the show you are a hard worker and take care of your crew. I was bumbed out at the end of last season when your vesel was under water I am glad to hear that you will be back my whole family watches the show religiously I also own one of you Hard Merchandise hoodies wear it all the time....... Good Luck this season....
The last time I saw the Hard Merchandise it was below water!! Dave and Jason are my personal favorites. Dave has the best attitude toward the other Tuna fishermen. He seems like a team player. We were in Gloucester this last Thanksgiving weekend and took a ride around the inner harbor hoping to catch a glimpse of the Hard Merchandise, but no luck,, Love this show and never miss a show (DVR it too)
wow, what a bummer for the nicest blokes on the show.
They are both top fisho's and more importantly, gentlemen.
I hope you get the boat sorted and are back at it.
Given potential water damage and age/condition I'm wondering whether the Hard Merchandise boat will survive ....my suggestion would be to lease The Bounty from the "cry babies" because they obviously don't know what they are doing out there. They just try to follow everybody else around and take their cues from the other fishermen instead of doing their "homework".
@Fast Fred I found a news article online by searching it. Maine News paper i found, it was an interesting story.
@james hogg yea he got the boat up and running did you think he was going to fish for blue fin in a row boat? lol just kidding
