Add recycling style to any gift with these do-it-yourself wrapper bows. This project can be made with all kinds of food wrappers, and would be a great opportunity to wrap with the gift recipient’s favorite snack.
Materials: - clean, empty food wrapper (at least 8” long) - scissors - stapler - ruler
Instructions:
1. Cut 4 strips of paper to 8” long x .75” wide. Cut 1 piece to 4” long x .75” wide
2. Take 2 of the long strips and loop over onto each other. Stack the 2 pieces on top of each other and arrange at a 90 degree angle. Staple the pieces together in the center. Repeat for the 2 other strips.
3. Take the short piece, loop it around and stack it on top of the stapled pairs from step 3. Staple all of these pieces together and you've made yourself a recycled bow. Attach the bow to the top and your gift and it’s a wrap!
