Your placement of wild Alaskan king salmon in the photo is inaccurate in context to this article. The Alaskan fishing industry, especially the salmon fisheries are among the most sustainable, best regulated and managed fisheries in the world. The Alaska Depertment of Fish and Game and its salmon hatchery and tagging program, do an incredible job with making sure streams are filled with spawning salmon and healthy fry every year. There are so many salmon in many of those rivers, you could practically walk on them. To the writer, please do your homework, and also possibly pick a better photo than Alaskan salmon to make your point.
