Fun Fact:
Growing up, Cliff was always on camping and hunting trips with his family. As he got older he became obsessed with extreme sports, mountains, and big waves. After high school, he went to MIT where he received his Bachelors and Masters degree in electrical engineering and was a Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu national collegiate scholar. After graduation and a short stint as an electrical engineer, he realized he hated the white collar and the desk, and wanted to spend his time outside.

Cliff studied under Bill McConnell from the PAST Skills Wilderness School and several indigenous traditions that taught him primitive living and survival skills. After years of training and experience, he decided it was time for him to start his own company, Adventure Out. Cliff started the company seven years ago and leads teams on primitive survival expeditions as well as teaching extreme sports. At the heart of his management style and mission statement is the desire to cultivate environmental stewardship.

Words of Wisdom:
"This experience is gonna teach you the difference between grace and finesse and brute strength."
