Dora's Dilemma

  • This is the story of a cute little puppy with a bad attitude. Dora is an adorable Yorkshire mix puppy that doesnt have a family. Theres one big problem: shes a little brat. Dora is dog aggressive, has no manners; and even though shes small, she can be very pushy. Dora needs a leader who can give her rules, boundaries and limitations. Cesar Millan comes to the rescue! Dora arrived at Birmingham Dog Home and everybody fell in love with her right away. Though shes small, shes pretty unruly and that stops her from being adopted. The shelter is concerned that her aggressive behavior toward other dogs can be dangerous for her because she attacks any dog, no matter the size and she could get seriously hurt. So theyve decided to bring Dora to Cesar Millan in the hope that he can place her in the most suitable home.
  • The first candidates are a family. Charlie, the young daughter, is a zoologist and an animal lover. Her parents, Caryn and Peter, want to support her by adopting a rescue dog. She has knowledge, but no hands on experience. Cesar wants her to meet the pack first. Charlie is insecure and the pack takes over easily; their energy gets out of control. Cesar shows her how to be more assertive. They go meet Dora and Charlie takes the lead but Dora is too excited. They bring Dora in with the pack and Cesar advises her to follow her instincts. It works out well!
  • Sue and Frasier are a young middle-aged couple with a terrier called Charlie, which they re-homed a year ago. They also have four cats at home. Sue and Frasier have always been cat people, but since they have Charlie their lives have changed. Through the fence, Dora shows excitement immediately and shes glad to meet young Charlie.Inside the kennel, Charlie seems glad to meet her too. He mounts her. It looks like love at first sight!
  • The third Candidates are Malcolm, an ex vet, and his wife Maxeen. They are a well to do couple with a 13-year-old mixed terrier called Arthur-Rex that is quite a character. They tell Cesar that theyve attempted to introduce new dogs into their home since their former dog died, but ArthurRex wouldnt allow it. Theyre amused to see cute small Dora surrender to Arthur-Rex right away, and impressed that Arthur-Rex has accepted her. They fall in love with Dora. But when it all seemed perfect, Malcolm lies on his back and Dora takes control of the situation, jumping on Malcolm!
