Weighing several hundred pounds and armed with vicelike jaws capable of dismembering prey, the alligator snapper is a true prehistoric beast - and Dr. Brady Barr is on a mission to find it. Brady heads to Louisiana to see if they still lurk in the waters of the Southeast. “Noodling” for turtles is an old Cajun technique, but for Brady, blindly searching bayou bottoms with his hands and feet borders on insanity. The beasts sit ready with mouths open, one mishap and Brady's fingers will disappear.
