Bad News Black Bears

By around 6 weeks their eyes are open, and they have begun to crawl and explore.  In order to have a good chance of survival theyll increase their weight by up to ten fold before they leave their den.

Follow the lives of a special group of black bears in Minnesota. Three tiny newborn cubs — Sam, Sophie and Sybil — emerge from their den with their mother, Juliet, and see the world for the first time. Two factors will now rule their lives: protecting themselves from danger and constantly battling to find food. The woods are full of challenges: predators, the elements and humans. Sam, Sophie and Sybil must follow their mother's lead and learn fast if they are to survive in this wilderness.
