Africa's Great Rift: Kingdom of the Cheetah
Mount Kilimanjaro and the Ngorongoro crater, Lake Nakuru and Lake Natron, Mount Meru and Mount Kenya are familiar names around the world – places millions of people think of as the embodiment of Africa. The Serengeti is a plateau in the borderland between Kenya and Tanzania, a grassland made possible by the fertile soil that resulted from the Rift Valley's wild volcanic era.
