DogTown: Search and Rescue
An ambitious new program, training shelter dogs in search and rescue, is being attempted by behavior consultant Sherry Woodard. These elite animals are usually bred for the job, but Sherry believes shelter dogs are up to the challenge. If she can prove this, more homeless animals may be able to find permanent homes. Dr. Mike Dix takes on a difficult case with Moccasin, a 4-year-old hound mix in danger of losing the use of both his back legs.
