A Wild Dog's Tale
This was a wonderful program. I had seen Solo before but just had to watch it again. Kudos to the photographer - GREAT job. Does anyone know what happened to Solo?? Did she ever have a family of her own? I agree with Sherry - Solo was kind, friendly and compassionate individual. Very Interesting because wild dogs do not have a great reputation. Perhaps it is the human trait of discrimination. ?? I would have liked to be her friend . It is too bad we cannot communicate with animals.
This is the second time I watched Solo's Tale. The photography was magic. seemed like I was there. The story continuity gripping. Kudos to the photographer. Do you know what happened to Solo?? Did she ever have a family of her own ? I agree with Sherry - Solo's actions were there of a kind and compassionate individual. It didn't hurt that she was also a damn great hunter :-))
Watched this last night, and could not stop watching!! I just fell in love with this wild dog "Solo". She longed for a family so desperately that she would do anything to get it, she put herself in danger multiple times with bigger stronger animals and she was so brave. Her emotions were much like a human beings, being sad, lonely, sharing food, caring for other animals off-spring and protecting them from harm, I was amazed at how smart she was and how she befriended other types of animals so she would not be alone. I kept fearing she would meet a terrible fate at the end of the show, and I was so happy to see that she prevailed and the story had a happy ending to it.
Watched this last night! Couldn't stop watching it, so interesting and absolutely fell in love with "Solo". I was so afraid she would meet a terrible fate at the end of the show, like most of these shows end, but she didn't, she prevailed! Animals are so amazing and have emotions very similar to humans, Solo longed for a family and would do anything to be part of one, she took many brave chances fighting off much larger and stronger animals. I just love this wild dog and her story!
