A Living Wreck
A wreck in Australia, teeming with fish. In March, 1911, the SS Yongala went down off the Australian coast with 122 passengers and crew. The ship was lost until 1958 and during that span of nearly half a century, coral took root on the Yongala’s steel skeleton. Fish and other sea creatures followed, to make their home here too.
