This broke my heart. I was yelling at the TV, asking blindly to the film crew to help the cub. I found this interview: http://www.earthtouchnews.com/videos/wildlife-raw-uncut/interview-eyewitness-cannot-believe-what-she-sees.aspx, shared by Mickey Singh Banwait, and am glad I did.

I understand the limitations wildlife journalists have on interactions with their subjects are necessary for the cycle to progress as it should; but, it doesn't make it any less heart-wrenching. I can't imagine the pain the journalists had to endure with this particular incident.

While I understand the laws of nature in the wild, why did the film crew not have someone use a tranquilizer dart or something to put the cub out of its misery? It was painful for me to watch, so I can imagine a young person being upset if they watched this episode.
