Dog Genius: Dog Genius
What really goes on in the mind of man's best friend?
My brother was just watching you show on Dog Genius, when he was surprised to see our mother. She was in the clip on Canine Camp. She was the one holding the black dogs ear out. My mom and I went to Canine Assistants to get her Forever Friend, Siren. Siren is a black long hair dachshund. Mom ad lost her hearing and therefor Siren was just that a Siren for my moms ears. She was trained to help hear knocks on the door or door bells, phone ringing, and more. Siren became a part of moms life. She went everywhere that mom went. Although she wasn't really trained for it she once woke mom up when he sugar had gotten very low and could have lead to a coma. Canine Assistants is a wonder place. When my mom was on her death bed she wanted someone else to get the use of Siren. So at her request I called to find out what we need to do to get Siren with another person. Canine Assistant was very supportive however we were told that Siren would grieve to much and need to be placed with a family member that she was use to. So I have had her since moms death in 2008. Today she is just a family dog and my forever friend. Thank you for the show it was wonderful.
