i reckon the sting of that creature really hurts...Ouch!

As Bugs Bunny used to say, "WHAT A MAROON".  I can hardly believe that a "Scientist" who knows full well the intensity of this ant's bite as well as the duration of the resulting suffering would voluntarily allow the ant to sting him.

I live where Fire Ants thrive.  Their bite is miserable and long lasting because of the concentration of formic acid they inject into your body.  I find it hard to believe that ANYONE knowledgeable in ant physiology would do this. 

In fact, in this video, he was not stung but just thinking about it is creepy.
